A few of us are planning to go to The Pelican beer festival in Gloucester so added to the social calendar 10.25 bus (Cirencester). We get there nice and early so should get a seat at this very popular event.
The Pelican will be awarded with the Mid Gloucestershire Pub of the Year certificate on Friday 20th March at 17.30. It was a close run competition with the Old Spot, Dursley narrowly missing out on the award having had to go to a tie-breaking decision.
The award for Mid Gloucestershire Club of the Year 2026 will be presented on Thursday 26th March at 19:30. The club is reachable by bus from the Gloucester Transport Hub by taking the 97 Gold or 98 Gold routes, and takes approximately 30 minutes. The services run until late for the return journey.
