Old Crown to Stay Open

As previously reported, Ann had finally announced her decision to retire from over 20 years at the helm of the Old Crown. Oak Taverns, the company that own the pub, were thankful of her and Brian and wished them a happy and well-deserved retirement.

Whilst some feared the pub closing and possibly being sold on, positive news shows a short refurbishment before reopening 14th August. Updates are available on their Facebook page.
