A reminder about this Wednesday 23rd October. The social evening starting at the Butchers Arms Oakridge and The Old Neighbourhood Chalford. Meeting at the Butchers Arms about 1930ish. Looking forward to seeing you there.
It's Pub Push week and the Drunken Duck has a Green Duck tap takeover. There is a special card costing £25 which will get a half of every beer on offer.
Cheeky Swine (New) Colour TBC ABV 4.8% Available in November Tim Ingram has been our Assistant Brewer since 2021 & this is his first ever own-recipe brew. Full details to follow later in the year – but it will be exciting! - expect something with character!
Our next social is next Thursday 30th October at the Rising Sun, Moseley Green at 8pm. There will be more socials up to the end of the year so keep checking your e-mails and website.
Coming up is a meeting on Saturday November 1st at 12.30 pm in the Pelican. Where the Brett Lanoish our Regional Director and Paul Sanders who is Chair of the Branches Committee and Regional Director of the South East Region are coming to discuss the way forward for Mid Gloucestershire Branch and to answer any questions.
We haven't specifically chosen which days we are all going but there is a good chance of bumping into someone over the weekend.
We are heading to Gloucester Brewery to explore their place before hopping to another, yet to be determined venue.
We get the 882 bus which leaves Cirencester at 10.25 arriving Gloucester 11.12 return 16.40 arriving Cirencester 17.29 or there is a later 18.40 arriving 19.29 for those with a strong constitution. Contact: cirencester@midgloucestershire.camra.org.uk
Unfortunately our original target for this social was to be the Dick Whittington's which has announced it's closure. Instead we will be heading straight to our second destination of the night, The Fountain, Gloucester. As usual later on we may or may not move onwards, depending on opinion, to any reasonable suggestion.
