DESCRIPTION:Several members of the Stroud contingency of the branch are planning to visit the Great British Beer Festival on the Friday. Anyone interest in joining us should get in contact with Andy Burston or join the Stroud sub-Branch meeting Wednesday 9th July. \nThe current itinerary is as follows: \n• Depart Stroud on 09:59 Train to Birmingham International\, Change at Cheltenham and\nBirmingham New Street\n• Arrive 11:45\, the venue is 5 minutes’ walk\nReturn trains are 46 minutes past the hour and a 17:56 departure was suggested\, arriving back\nin Stroud at 19:36. \nFor those departing from Stroud\, we may be going for breakfast (to be arranged) prior to the train.

DESCRIPTION:Tewkesbury CAMRA are organising a minibus trip to present the Tewkesbury Winter Ales Festival Gloucestershire Ale of the Festival certificate at Fresh Standard Brewery on 15th May. \nAs Fresh Standard are especially opening on a Thursday night\, Gloucestershire CAMRA members are welcome to come and celebrate the event. \nTewkesbury group will be aiming to reach the brewery not long after 7pm. Exact timings will be detailed closer to the date.

DESCRIPTION:Everyone is welcome to join us for a night socialising beginning at the newly refurbished and reopened Bowbridge Arms before a short walk up the hill to visit the relatively new management at the Crown & Sceptre. \nTravel Arrangements \nPlease get in touch if you would be unable to walk or use public transport and we can liaise and see what we can do. \nThe Bowbridge Arms is no more than a 20 minute walk from the centre of Stroud. It is also close to the canal footpath\, which can be taken as far as the locks at Butterrow Hill. \nThe 67 Bus leaves Merrywalks at 19:10 arriving outside at 19:19. [There are no services after 20:00 in the area\, it is a 15 minute walk from the Crown & Sceptre to the centre of Stroud.]
