We are pleased to be awarding Chalford Sports & Social Club not only Club of the Year for Stroud, but in a first for the area, also Club of the Year for the Gloucestershire Branch. Skittle alley is open so a featured match against the locals will no doubt ensue.
Further to the successful social in April we are planning the next one on Thursday 5th June. We plan to alternate them between the city centre and the docks and will meet in Dr Fosters at 7.30pm before moving on to another pub or two.
We are heading to Gloucester Brewery to explore their place before hopping to another, yet to be determined venue.
Members from all the areas of the branch will be attending the Old Spot Winter Beer Festival on Friday 28th November. Some of us will be there from midday, others in the afternoon moving through to the evening.
