SUMMARY:Tom Oliver's Cider Talk & Tasting Night (External)
DESCRIPTION:Regarded as one of the greatest cidermakers on the planet\, the “Wizard of the West” Tom Oliver has been a great friend and inspiration to us here at the Sally for many years now. Regular visitors will know his ciders have been gracing our chalkboard list for more than a decade. Based on Ocle Pychard in Hereford\, Tom makes the most sublime and innovative ciders and perries with an emphasis on balance\, character and drinkability. His minimal intervention approach\, using only wild yeast and a philosophy of “take what the fruit gives” has garnered him plaudits across the globe\, including\, we kid you not\, a mention in Vogue magazine! We’re delighted to have him back here at the Sally for a romp through a range of drinks from his oh so tasty keeved perry\, through juicy varietals\, beautiful blends\, vintage barrel aged ciders to Mills Brewing collabs and fortified cider and the true spirit of the Gloucestershire apple “Foxwhelp”. Tickets are £20 and are available on the bar or online now.
